The Committee on Education moves to amend HB3009 on page 7, section 18-2E-10, line 116, following the words “grade level” by inserting a comma and the words “including students with dyslexia and dyscalculia”

On page 7, section 18-2E-10, line 122, following the words “reading teachers” by inserting a period and striking the remainder of line 122 and striking lines 123 through line 127
AND
On page 11, section 18-2E-10, by striking subdivision (1) on lines 221 and 226 and renumbering the subsequent subdivisions
AND
On page 11, section 18-2E-10, line 225 following the word “summative” by inserting the words “or alternate”
AND
On page 11, section 18-2E-10, line 231 following the word “dyslexia” by inserting the words “or dyscalculia”
AND
On page 13, section 18-5-18a, line 13, following the words “assistant teacher” by inserting a comma and the words “or other more highly credentialed professional or paraprofessional employee” followed by a comma
AND
On page 17, section 18A-5-9, line 25, following the word “through” by striking the word “two” and inserting in lieu thereof the word “three”
